Endophytic Fungi: Biological Control and Induced Resistance to Phytopathogens and Abiotic Stresses

چکیده
Plant diseases cause losses of approximately 16% globally. Thus, management measures must be implemented to mitigate and guarantee food production. In addition traditional measures, induced resistance biological control have gained ground in agriculture due their enormous potential. Endophytic fungi internally colonize plant tissues the potential act as agents, such agents or elicitors process attenuating abiotic stresses. this review, we list mode action group microorganisms which can controlling describe several examples endophytes were able reduce damage caused by pathogens adverse conditions. This is arsenal molecules generated during interaction they form a kind shield plant. Furthermore, considering that endophytic an important tool managing for biotic stresses large amount biologically active substances produced, bioprospecting class tending increase generate valuable products agriculture.

Biological properties of Endophytic Fungi
The endophytic fungus is have rich source of secondary metabolites which act as biological active agent in the higher plants. The fungal derivatives play vital part in human life and their compounds are the source of drug for cancer, microbial and viral diseases. The natural compounds from the endophytes acts as growth inhibitor of plant pathogenic organism. Endophytes are rich sources of natur...
متن کاملSunflower Breeding for Resistance to Abiotic and Biotic Stresses
Due to a specific structure of its main organs (root, stem, leaves, and head), sunflower can be successfully grown on marginal soils and in semiarid conditions, and it is more resist‐ ant to abiotic stresses, than other field crops. Unfortunately, it is very sensitive to biotic stresses. In sunflower breeding for resistance to abiotic stresses, the greatest progress has been made in selection f...

This work, for the first time, investigated the diversity of endophytic fungi harbored in the xylem and phloem of the root of Sophora tonkinensis Gapnep from three geographic localities with emphasis on the influence of the tissue type and geographic locality on endophytic fungal communities and their potential as biocontrol agents against phytopathogens of Panax notoginseng. A total of 655 fun...

متن کاملIdentification and Expression Analysis of Two Arabidopsis LRR-Protein Encoding Genes Responsive to Some Abiotic Stresses
AbstractTwo Arabidopsis thaliana genes, psr9.2 and psr9.4 appearedto be highly similar to a phosphate-starved induced gene,psr9, isolated from Brassica nigra suspension cells.Sequence analysis classified the encoded polypeptides asmembers of leucine-rich repeat (LRR) proteins superfamily. The sequence of psr9 proteins comprise a unique N-terminalregion e...
